This weekend,the stage is set for the 38th annual Royal Rumble, and the stakes are higher than ever. Taking place on Saturday 1st February, the exhilarating action will air live, for the very first time, on Netflix from the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
As the road to WrestleMania begins, the highly anticipated event is ready to deliver with explosive matchups and thrilling returns, all on one action-packed night. With their sights set on victory, Superstars are all revved up to battle it out, as rivalries reach boiling points and alliances are tested to their limits.
A Royal Rumble match begins with two Superstars in the ring. Every 90 seconds, a new Superstar enters the fray. Elimination only occurs when a Superstar has gone over the top rope and both feet have touched the floor. This continues until there is just one man or one woman left standing as the winner of the Royal Rumble Match, winning a guaranteed Men’s or Women’s Championship Match at WrestleMania 41.
With John Cena’s potential to win a record 17 world championships on his farewell tour, Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship title on the line and a new women’s star hoping to emerge, this super-charged night is not one to miss.

Cody Rhodes and the increasingly dangerous Kevin Owens will battle in a Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship.The American Nightmare defeated Owens at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but KO shocked the WWE Universe after the match by delivering a Package Piledriver to the champion, leaving him medically unable to complete. With Owens parading around with the Winged Eagle WWE Title and claiming to be the rightful champion, Rhodes returned to SmackDown on Dec. 27 to lay down the challenge of a Ladder Match, where both titles hang above the ring with only one Superstar able to pull them down and be the Undisputed WWE Champion.

WWE Tag Team Champions #DIY will defend their title against former champions Motor City Machine Guns in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match.Despite his history with Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, Johnny Gargano chose his allegiance to Tommaso Ciampa over the tandem. The devious pair then came together and conquered the titleholders to become WWE Tag Team Champions for the second time.
