Ali Express Announces ‘Ramadan Sale’ Offering Up To 70% Discount For Customers In The Middle East
AliExpress, a global retail marketplace that enables consumers from across the Middle East to buy directly from producers and distributors, has announced its ‘Ramadan Sale’ offering up to 70 per cent discount on millions of products for customers in the Middle East. The sale from April 12 to May 13, 2021 will offer discount on products across all categories.
AliExpress recently completed its 11th Anniversary Sale recording overwhelming response from customers with 350 per cent increase in Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) for women’s clothing, 500 per cent increase in GMV for ethnic fashion(including Abaya and Jalabiya) and 350 per cent increase for children’s clothing. Jewelry and Household Appliances also recorded a remarkable increase of300 percent and the Home & Garden category marked a growth of 200 per cent in GMV.

As per the data released by AliExpress during the Anniversary Sale period shoppers searched for key words like ‘Kareem’, ‘Eid Mubarak’ and ‘Ramadan’ indicating that the consumers in the region are preparing for the festive season in advance with AliExpress.Women and Children clothing along with Household Appliances and Home & Garden will continue to be the key focus categories during the Ramadan Sale period.
The AliExpress Ramadan Sale is aimed in bringing an enhanced shopping experience for the buyers in the region by indulging them with multiple shipping and delivery services combined with attractive discounted prices.
AliExpress has resumed Cash on Delivery service after the restriction was lifted since July 2020 and is monitoring the situation closely to make any changes, if needed. The company places the highest priority on human care and to protect the health of customers and business partners.
