RAKEZ Hailed As GCC’s Best Employer Brand
Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone has been named as Gulf Cooperation Council’s (GCC) Best Employer Brand at the recently concluded 6th Employer Branding Awards organised by Employer Branding Institute at The Address, Dubai Mall. The economic zone was chosen by the awards programme for its success in using marketing communications to strategically attract, retain and develop talent.
The award was received by RAKEZ Chief Strategy Officer Mohammed Al Dhuhoori and Group Director of HR Aysha Sulaiman during the awarding ceremony. RAKEZ has been committed towards becoming the No. 1 Employer of Choice, rolling our several projects in the recent years for its over 400 employees, such as introducing an employee recognition programme, conducting town halls, launching of an HR portal, and many more.
In addition to this achievement, RAKEZ General Counsel Moulham Al Chawa has also been recognised by The Legal 500, including him in the GC Powerlist: Middle East 2019 as one of the region’s in-house counsels who help drive the legal business forward. He was honoured during a cocktail reception held at Waldorf Astoria, Dubai.
“Congratulations to our Human Resources and Development team! Being named as the Best Employer Brand in the GCC is definitely a great win for RAKEZ. It is a milestone that speaks volumes on how we place a high value on one of our greatest assets – our people, by enhancing the workplace we provide to our brilliant talents,” said Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of RAKEZ. “And of course, I would like to applaud Moulham for being recognised for his passion. Your RAKEZ family is proud of your achievement, and you are definitely a testament to our efforts of helping our employees reach their full potential.”
Commenting on its journey to becoming the No. 1 Employer of Choice in the region, Mr Jallad said: “We have come a long way since we first took the step to create a more engaging and rewarding workplace for the RAKEZ family, but we are definitely going to do more to give our people not just the right opportunities and benefits, but also the sense of belongingness and empowerment that they deserve.”
