Summertown Interiors Wins ‘Best Workplace Wellness Program’ Award At Happiness @ Work Awards

 Summertown Interiors, the UAE’s leading fit-out contractor specialising in green interiors, has won The Happiness @ Work Award for “Best Workplace Wellness Program”at last week’s award ceremony in Dubai. The accolade recognises Summertown’s efforts in implementing a workplace wellness program that aims to improve both the wellness and wellbeing of its employees.

The inaugural 2017 Happiness @ Work Awards were judged by an international independent panel that identifies organisations which institute positivism, happiness and a sense of belonging into the workplace. Summertown was recognised for its workplace ‘Health, Wellness and Wellbeing’ program which is a key pillar of the company’s overarching corporate sustainability strategy.

Summertown’s 2017 program included regular wellness and wellbeing activities such as yoga sessions, mindfulness workshops and healthy breakfasts. In addition to a healthy and happy workforce, the company has reported an improvement in levels of employee engagement and productivity, which has positively impacted its bottom line.
